Please see the below IJF important circular :
"Each competitor is obliged to have sewn on the back of his judogi a backnumber in compliance with the IJF regulation bearing his surname and his National Olympic Committee (NOC) abbreviation.
The surname should match what is entered in judobase.org in the LAST (FAMILY) NAME box.
The NOC code should be the IOC-recognised 3-letter country code.
