International Judo Federation’s Judo Education Journey started in India, from 1st October 2016. The Judo Education Journey will cover various cities of North India. The IJF Education Team will be covering the cities like Agra ( Uttar Pradesh ), Haridwar and Dehradun ( Uttarakhand ), Jalandhar and Gurdaspur ( Punjab ), Narnaul and Sonepat ( Haryana ) and Delhi.
In the past, such program of IJF has already organized in China, Canada, Oceania and Australia, and now in India.
The purpose to organise the program is to increase the playing population of Judo, Identify young talents, to help the local Judo clubs and coaches to develop Judo at grassroot level. The Program will consist of Judo Demonstrations, Presentations, training, Conferences, and Interaction with the young Children to teach them values of Judo.
The IJF Team headed by Mr. MESSNER Nicolas, Media & Communication Director and Head Director – Judo For Peace IJF, along with Mr. MIKLOS UNGVARI, Olympic Medallist ( Hungary ) and Mr. Jose Luis Macerola Pacha ( Visual Expert ), are carrying the Judo Education Journey through India.
After the conclusion of Judo Education Journey at Agra, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, President, Judo Federation of India, expressed the importance of the Judo Education Journey in India and he informed that all Judokas and official at Agra were very much impressed and he extended his sincere thanks to International Judo Federation for organizing such program for the Development of Judo in India.
The Education Tour will conclude by 11th October 2016.
