North Korea may hold 2017 Junior World Judo Championships:

North Korea has submitted the Bid for 2017 Junior World Judo Championships. Mr. Marius Vizer, President, IJF recently visited Pyongyang to see the various facilities and to meet the Minister of Sports, Govt. of North Korea and also the NOC and Judo Officials. Mr. Marius Vizer appreciated the initiative by the North Korea.

A final decision will be made during the next EC Meeting of IJF just prior to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
