IJF and Double D Adidas Combat Sports Establish a New Strategic Partnership

On March 25th, 2025, a new chapter in sports collaboration began as Mr. Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation (IJF), and Mr. Cédric Dermée, President of Double D Adidas Combat Sports, officially signed a four-year agreement. This partnership, set to run from 2025 through 2028, designates Double D as an official IJF partner and supplier. The ceremonial signing took place at the IJF’s central office in Budapest, Hungary.

Double D, a company based in France and established in 1994, has held the global license for Adidas combat sports gear since 2005. With decades of experience in the industry, Double D is recognized as a leader in martial arts equipment and apparel.

During the signing, Mr. Vizer expressed his enthusiasm about the renewed collaboration, stating, “We are pleased to enter into this four-year agreement with Double D Adidas Combat Sports. The brand is known worldwide for its quality and commitment to sport. This cooperation will further support judo’s ongoing journey toward growth and global recognition.”

Echoing the sentiment, Mr. Dermée shared his outlook on the strengthened relationship: “Our long-standing association with the IJF has already produced great results. I am delighted to begin this new chapter as a special IJF partner. This partnership is an important step forward, and we look forward to working closely with the entire judo community in the years to come.”
