39.  APPLICATION FOR HOLDING ASIAN JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS

The written application, to be sent to the General Secretariat of the JUA must contain the following;

1. Place and date of holding the Asian Judo Championships
       a)  Number of days of competition and extra days
2. Assurances of 
       a)  observed of JUA Statutes and the Technical Code & Check List
       b)  unimpeded entry into the country and participation in the Asian Judo Championships of JUA member countries
       c)  information about the competition site, accommodation, facilities, and climate
       d)  information about financial guarantees for the Asian Judo Championships

OVERALL PROGRAM FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND HOLDING OF THE ASIAN JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS

The organizing federation shall work out an overall programme for the organization and holding of the Asian Judo Championships.

This programme must be submitted to the JUA Secretariat within 6 months after having accepted the organization of the Asian Judo Championships.

CONTENTS OF THE OVERALL PROGRAM

Overall timetable including all activities necessary

• Date and place of the opening of the Information and Reception Office
• Date of arrival of Directing Committee members, Technical Committee members, Officials, Referees and Competitors
• Timetable for training hours for participating countries
• Timetable for local transport
• Date and place of control of passport
• Date and place of control of flags and anthems
• Date and place of draw
• Date and place of weigh-in
• Competition timetable
• Timetable of opening and closing ceremonies
• Timetable of prize-giving ceremony
• Date and place of doping control
• Date and place of press conference and interviews with the winner
• Date and place of sessions and conferences
  

OVERALL FINANCIAL PLAN

• Fixing of costs for subsistence expenses for JUA Officials and Referees (accommodation and meals expenses).
• Fixing of costs for meetings (Congress, Directing Committee meeting Technical Committee meeting, Referees\' meeting, Representatives\' meeting and draw)
• Fixing of costs for Competition Hall
• Fixing of costs for transportation (for officials and competitors)
• Fixing of costs for doping control including laboratory tests
• Other costs for organizing the championships

• Plan of transportation for officials and competitor
• Accommodation for officials and competitors

• Setting up the office of championships
